CHIEF INSTRUCTOR - CHRIS DAVIES
Chris has been studying martial arts since 1971 and has been teaching in Edinburgh for the past 20 years. He has studied Kung Fu systems with, amongst others, Masters Tom Yang, Erle Montaigue and Phil Mead.
He is an Officer of the National Association of Karate & NAKMAS Schools (NAKMAS) Management Committee. NAKMAS is the UK's largest independent Governing Body and licence all OMAS students.
Chris is a registered instructor with Erle Montaigue's World Tai Chi Boxing Association and teaches the Montaigue Fighting System concepts. |
ADULTS CLASSES
Adults from aged 18 years are welcome to train with Chris' main group who meet at Queen Margaret University Campus, Newcraighall, Edinburgh on Mondays and Wednesdays 8pm to 9.30pm.
TRAINING
Training covers external and internal methods and techniques.
Externally, it develops an individual's speed, timing, awareness, mobility and ability. It improves fitness, suppleness, health and co-ordination.
Internally, through simple relaxed exercises, improves inner health, posture and breathing - especially useful for relieving stress and tension.
